RAINFALL DATA
FAO in partnership with Meteorological department , local NGO’s and International NGO’s has managed to put up 26 rain gauges and 5 automatic weather stations across South Sudan. Data is collected on a daily basis across the country and sent to the Agro meteorology focal person in Juba for compilation and upload to the system.
From CIiMIS one can be a able to retrieve data for a particular area over a period of time which is represented in the following formats:
- - Dekads ( Total amount for a period of 10 days)
- - Month ( Total amount for a period of one month)
To access rainfall data, ensure you can access the dashboard :

1. From the dashboard, click Agrometeorology ->Rainfall Data on the left side bar menu .
2. From the selection criteria section (the top part) select the following :
- - Year
- - Data formart(10-day dekads/month )
- - Data level(County/State)
- - State
- - Select counties (available only when data level by county is selected)
- - Select stattions (only on county level)
3. Click Get Data button
