EXCHANGE RATE
In South Sudan, the common currency exchange is South Sudanese Pound (SSP) - US Dollar since the US dollar is main the currency used for importation of food commodities in to the country. Tracking of the exchange rate (SSP to USD) is really important since a change in the exchange rate affects other factors including food prices therefore the exchange rate is recorded on a daily basis both commercial & and parallel rates
To access exchange rate data, ensure you can access the dashboard
1. From the dashboard, click Market Data & Analysis on the left side bar menu .
2. Click Exchange Rate link
3. From the selection criteria section (the top part) select the following :
- - Type of exchange (commercial/parallel)
- - Period (start year - end year)
4. Click Get Data button
