Early Warning

The module gives a summary of the foood security situation progression in diffrent counties in South Sudan indication which counties need to be prioritised due to the worsening situation. The following threshholds and indicators have been used in this module:

1. Threshholds:

  • - Normal(Green) - The situation has not changed or has improved compared to the average period indicated
  • - Alarm (Yellow) - The situation has slightly deteriorated compared to the average period indicated
  • - Alarm (Yellow) - The situation is worse compared to the average period indicated and needs attention

2. Indicators:

  • - Maize grain prices
  • - Sorghum prices
  • - Exchange rate
  • - Wage Labor
  • - Terms of Trade (wage labor to cereals)
  • - Terms of Trade (goat to cereals)
  • - Rainfall

View early warning data:

1. From the dashboard left menu, click Early Warning - > Early Warninng Data on the left side bar menu .

2. From the selection criteria section (the top part) select the following :

  • - Year
  • - month

3. Click Get Data button
